Inulin is a compound made up of more than 30 simple sugar molecules that are linked by β-2,1-glycoside bonds into an unbranched chain. It is a plant-derived polysaccharide that provides a store of reserve. It is a compound that is not digested in the upper gastrointestinal tract and in undigested form is transported to the large intestine, where it undergoes bacterial fermentation in the colon. Inulin is used as dietary fibre and prebiotic, i. e. a medium for good bacteria living in the digestive system.

Colostrum - or first milk is a thick secretion of the mammalian mammary gland, which is a wealth of protein and enzymes. The OstroVit preparation uses dried bovine colostrum.

Recommended Use:
