SCITEC NUTRITION AMINO 5600 - 500 tabs

Key Benefits:

3520 mg of amino acids per day, of which:

    - 1467 mg essential amino acid (EAA)

    - 1377 mg of conditionally essential amino acid (CAA)

    - 676 mg non-essential amino acid (NAA)

    - 686 mg branched-chain amino acid (BCAA)

With amino acids from multiple sources

With added L-glutamine

In tablet form

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins, which can be classified into several groups based on the extent to which our body can synthesize them. We distinguish between essential amino acids (EAA), which our body cannot produce or cannot produce sufficiently, and which must therefore be supplied from external sources.  Conditionally essential amino acids (CAAs) are those that our body cannot produce in sufficient quantities under certain circumstances. The third group of amino acids are non-essential (NAA), because our body can synthesise them from essential amino acids.

A varied and balanced diet can ensure that our body gets the amino acids it needs. The amino acid profile of the product is derived from whey protein concentrate and sodium caseinate, and the formula is also enriched with L-glutamine.

Amino 5600 contains all the essential amino acids, including branched-chain amino acids (BCAAs), L-leucine, L-isoleucine and L-valine. In addition to these, conditionally essential and non-essential amino acids complete the active ingredient content of the product.

Amino 5600 is recommended:

For both men and women

For men and women who want to add amino acids to a balanced, varied diet

For those who prefer the tablet form

Dissecting the supplement’s ingredients:

Essential Amino Acids (EAAs):

L-Histidine

L-Histidine is crucial for the production of histamine, a neurotransmitter vital for immune response, digestion, and sleep-wake cycles. It also helps with tissue repair and the production of red and white blood cells, making it essential for recovery and immunity.

L-Isoleucine

L-Isoleucine plays a key role in muscle metabolism and is heavily involved in energy production. It aids in muscle repair and helps prevent muscle breakdown during intense physical activity, making it ideal for post-workout recovery.

L-Leucine

Leucine is known for its role in stimulating muscle protein synthesis, promoting muscle growth and recovery. It’s a key amino acid for athletes looking to enhance strength and muscle development.

L-Lysine

L-Lysine supports calcium absorption and helps in the production of collagen, which is essential for healthy skin, joints, and bones. It also has a role in immune function and hormone production, making it vital for overall well-being.

L-Methionine

Methionine is important for metabolism and detoxification. It helps the body process and eliminate fat, preventing excess fat buildup. Methionine also supports the production of glutathione, a powerful antioxidant that protects cells from damage.

L-Phenylalanine

L-Phenylalanine is a precursor to neurotransmitters like dopamine and norepinephrine, which improve mood, focus, and mental alertness. It also contributes to the production of other amino acids, making it essential for overall protein balance in the body.

L-Threonine

Threonine supports the formation of collagen and elastin, proteins that are key for skin and connective tissue health. It also plays a role in immune function and fat metabolism, contributing to balanced body composition.

L-Tryptophan

L-Tryptophan is necessary for the production of serotonin, a neurotransmitter that regulates mood, sleep, and appetite. This makes it beneficial for mental health and sleep quality, reducing feelings of fatigue and stress.

L-Valine

L-Valine supports muscle metabolism, tissue repair, and the maintenance of proper nitrogen balance in the body. It’s important for athletes because it helps preserve muscle mass and supports endurance.

Conditionally Essential Amino Acids (CAAs):

L-Arginine

L-Arginine boosts nitric oxide levels, improving blood flow and oxygen delivery to muscles during exercise. This supports endurance, strength, and faster recovery, making it ideal for athletes.

L-Cysteine

L-Cysteine is a precursor to glutathione, one of the body’s most important antioxidants. It helps detoxify the body, supports immune function, and promotes healthy skin by maintaining collagen production.

L-Glutamine and L-Glutamic acid

L-Glutamine is crucial for immune function and intestinal health. It helps prevent muscle breakdown during intense exercise and speeds up recovery. Glutamic acid is important for brain health, acting as a neurotransmitter.

L-Proline

L-Proline is essential for collagen production, promoting healthy skin, joints, and tendons. It supports connective tissue health, which is especially important for recovery and injury prevention in athletes.

L-Tyrosine

L-Tyrosine supports brain function by boosting the production of neurotransmitters like dopamine and norepinephrine. It helps improve focus, mood, and stress management, making it valuable for mental performance.

Nonessential Amino Acids (NAAs):

L-Alanine

L-Alanine plays a role in converting blood sugar into energy, making it crucial for endurance and stamina during prolonged physical activity. It also supports the immune system by providing energy to immune cells.

L-Asparagine and L-Aspartic acid

L-Asparagine supports the nervous system and helps maintain balance in amino acid production. L-Aspartic acid helps convert food into cellular energy and is involved in hormone production, improving overall vitality and performance.

Glycine

Glycine promotes muscle growth, repair, and overall recovery. It also supports the production of collagen, making it important for joint, skin, and tissue health. Glycine has calming effects, promoting better sleep and mental relaxation.

L-Serine

L-Serine is essential for the production of phospholipids, which are components of cell membranes. It aids in cognitive function, brain health, and muscle repair, contributing to overall performance and recovery.
